Talking about a variety of topics in the news is one way for teachers to engage the students in conversations. They offer ideal opportunities for cooperative-group instruction, classroom discussions and debates, purposeful follow-up writing, and much more.

Current affairs also play a crucial role for students when they want to prepare for competitive exams. And not only competitive exams, assignments conducted for jobs and Interviews also contain questions on general awareness these days.
